Product Data eXchange (PDX) data file used to facilitate supply chain interactions; contains a total product definition of a manufactured product; includes data such as bill of materials (BOM), original product configuration, approved manufacturer list (ALM), and product history.

PDX files help to communicate technical information between Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM), Electronics Manufacturing Services providers, and component suppliers. They use a standardized XML format specified by the IPC-2570 Supply Chain Communication standard.
