  • DR - File duration in seconds
  • TT - File description
  • TG - File genre
  • TR - Track number
  • TL - File language
  • TA - Artist name
  • TB - Album name
  • TY - Production year
  • TH - Author's name
  • TE - File's encoder
  • TC - Comments
  • TU - File URL
  • TO - Copyright information
  • FD - Forced duration (for slideshows)
  • BR! - End of file
  • All the tags except the AC, NM, and BR! tags are optional.

    Audio or video playlist created by Zune, a multimedia application for Windows; saved in an XML format and contains references to playlist items, such as songs or movies; allows user to organize playlists by genres or favorites.

    By default, ZPL files are saved to the following directory:

    [user]\My Music\Playlists\

    NOTE: Zune also refers to a multimedia mobile device. The Zune desktop software can interface with Zune devices.

    How to fix problems with .ZPL files

    1. You need to update the application that you normally use to open .ZPL files. Only the latest version of the software supports the current .ZPL file format
