What is an .YOG file?

.YOG is Outerra Captured Video File

Video file captured by Outerra, a 3D planetary engine used for making space and earth simulations; contains video captured from an Outerra program; stores the video in a YCoCg (named "yog" by the Outerra developer) format.

You can convert YOG files to .AVI files using Outerra's YOG converter, which is based on FFmpeg and includes a YOG conversion plug-in. A .BAT script called conv.bat converts the video to .AVI, and another script called conv4edit.bat converts the video into the MJPEG format for video editing frame by frame.
