.XMWX is ExamSoft Working File
Working file used by ExamSoft, an online assessment-management program; contains answers from an exam while the user is working on the exam.
When you download an exam from ExamSoft, an .XMZX file is created to contain the exam content. You can then open it with SofTest, an ExamSoft application for Windows and OS X. When taking the exam, the XMZX file is automatically deleted and replaced with the XMWX "working" file. When you complete the exam, the XMWX file is replaced by the .XMDX file, which contains the final answers. This file is located in the Answers folder in the SofTest installation directory on your computer. You can then upload the XMDX file to the ExamSoft cloud.
