The XMDX file is created by SofTest, an ExamSoft application for Windows and OS X. When completing an exam using SofTest, an XMDX file is generated to contain the answers. This file is located in the Answers folder in the SofTest installation directory on your computer. You can then upload the XMDX file to the ExamSoft cloud.
