The x16 file extension is associated with applications developed by Macromedia, like Macromedia Flash,Macromedia Dreamweaver, Macromedia Freehand, Authorware, etc.

Macromedia was acquired by Adobe in 2005.

.X16 file format is deprecated and this file format is no longer supported.
