The wwe file extension is associated with the AMP1-16 update service. AMP1-16 was developed by the Wohler.

Update service can send files as an e-mail message and due the reason of the safety sends executable files with renamed file extension exe to wwe.

The wwe file extension can be renamed back to EXE and after that can be executed.
