RCA Voice Recorder File

Developer by: RCA Category: Audio Files

A VOC file is an audio file created by RCA Digital Voice Recorder, a device used to record interviews, meetings and lectures. It contains audio with a sample rate of 8 kHz and compressed using a standard (5.6 kbps) or high (3.2 kbps) compression method.

VOC files are created when you record audio with the RCA Digital Voice Recorder. After you complete your recording(s) you can transfer the VOC file(s) that contain your audio by connecting the device to a computer via a USB port. You can simply drag and drop the VOC file(s) to your computer.

Unfortunately, the VOC format is not widely supported, which means that there are not many programs that can play the VOC file. However, Faasoft Video Converter and Faasoft Audio Converter can open and play VOC files. These programs can also be used to convert .VOC files to more popular formats, such as .MP3, .WAV, and .M4A.
