What are .VET files and how to open them?

Can't open .VET file? Are you wondering what it contains? On our site we will explain to you what this file is, what it is used for and what software opens the .VET file.

What is a .VET file extension?

.VET file extension is created by Lectra. .VET has been classified as CAD Files. The format of .VET file is Binary.

.VET is Lectra Cutter's Must File

CAD file used by Lectra Modaris, a clothing design application; includes the "cutter's must" information, which describes the apparel style and the list of pieces to be cut; used with a corresponding .IBA file, which contains the geometry for the garment's pieces.

VET-IBA files are used for saving new fashions in men's, women's and children's clothing design. When designs are complete, they can be sent to a compatible pattern cutting machine to cut out the pattern on a piece of fabric.

NOTE: Lectra Modaris now uses .MDL files instead of VET and IBA files.
