What is a .SMPD file extension?

.SMPD file extension is created by András Belicza. .SMPD has been classified as Game Files. The format of .SMPD file is Binary.

.SMPD is Sc2gears Mouse Print Data File

File created by Sc2gears, a program used for analyzing .SC2REPLAY replay files created from the real-time strategy game StarCraft 2; contains mouse movement data recorded in real-time during a game; used for printing a mouse movement graph and for calculating mouse movement statistics in Sc2gears.

SMPD files can be saved in either a compressed or uncompressed format.

NOTE: Sc2gears is able run in the background and detect when a StarCraft II game has started and stopped (in Windows only). Therefore, it can track mouse movements for the exact duration of a game and automatically generate an SMPD file when the game is finished. To enable this feature, choose Settings → Miscellaneous settings... from the application menu, select the "Mouse print" tab, and then check the "Save mouse prints of all games" option (note that you must also have APM Alert enabled for it to work).

You can create a mouse recording manually in Sc2gears' "Mouse print recorder" window by pressing the Start recording button. Press the Stop recording button to end recording.
