.SEX is Alpha Five Set Data Dictionary Index File
Index file created by Alpha Five, a desktop, Web, and mobile IDE; contains index data referenced by Alpha Five to locate any set components; created along with .SET and .SEM linked set files; similar to .CDX and .DDX Alpha Five index files.
When two or more tables are linked together in Alpha Five, a set, which consists of a SEX, SEM, and SET file is created. These files make up the set data dictionary for the two or more tables linked together. The dictionary stores reports, forms, and any other objects linked to the set. You should keep your SEX files with the other SET and SEM Set Data Dictionary files in order for Alpha to easily find all of the elements and their pieces.
NOTE: In 2013, Alpha Five became Alpha Anywhere.
Common SEX Filenames[Name of your set].sex - When you create the set, the SEX file will be created with the same name as the related SET and SEM files.
