To create a SBU file:

  • Click the Back up/Restore tab.
  • With the Data backup option selected, select the items you'd like to back up by clicking the check boxes.
  • Click the Backup button, after the back up is completed, click Complete.

    • On Windows, the SBU files will be located here:

    C:\Users\{username}\Documents\samsung\Kies\Backup

    To restore SBU files to your device:

  • Click the Back up/Restore tab.
  • With the Restore data option selected, select the items you'd like to restore by clicking the check boxes.
  • Click the Restore button, after the restore is completed, click Complete.
