.ROFL is League of Legends Replay File

An ROFL file is a replay file created by League of Legends (LoL), a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game. It contains a video of LoL gameplay that has been downloaded from the game.

ROFL files are created to store a replay when you select the download button next to "Advanced Details" from the "End of Game" screen. After you download the replay, select "Watch Replay" in order to view the replay of your gameplay. A replay lasts until you install a new patch of the game. For example, a replay created by LoL 7.3 expires when you update to 7.4.

How to Open .ROFL file on different platforms

Open .ROFL File on Windows

Right-click a .ROFL

Left-click "Open With" > "Choose another app"

Select the program that opens .ROFL file and Select check box "Always use this app to open .ROFL files" Press "Ok"
