QuickPad Encrypted Document

Encrypted text document created by QuickPad, a text editor sometimes used as a replacement for Notepad on Windows; stores text that can only be viewed by opening the file in QuickPad; used for protecting sensitive information.

To create a QPF file, select File → Export as QuickPad file... from the QuickPad application menu.

NOTE: Since QPF files do not use a user-specified password when they are encoded, two QPF files with the same document text contain the same encoded data.
