A PUK file is a Pavuk Universal Kommand file used by the Pavuk Device Interface (PDI) application. It contains configuration and security tokens used to verify data transfers between an instrument and a server.

PDI is a Windows application used to securely pass information from a device, such as a credit card reader or data measuring instrument, to a server. The PUK file is utilized to verify the credentials of the data transfer for security purposes.
