Settings file created by Pro Tools, a digital audio workstation (DAW); saves input and output settings, including input sources, output formats, bus configurations, mic preamps, and H/W insert delay; allows settings to be saved and reused between sessions.
NOTE: Pro Tools can either save I/O settings with session files (.PTX or .PRF files) or separately in PIO files.
