What is a .PDM file extension?

.PDM file extension is created by SAP. .PDM has been classified as Database Files.

.PDM is PowerDesigner Database File

Database created with Sybase PowerDesigner, an enterprise modeling and design program; stores database information as well as references to other files, such as the database definition (.XDB) file and model definition (.XEM) files.

PDM files can also be opened with Quest Software's QDesigner, which was discontinued in 2006.

NOTE: PowerDesigner was originally developed by Sybase, which was purchased by SAP.

How to fix problems with .PDM files

  1. You need to update the application that you normally use to open .PDM files. Only the latest version of the software supports the current .PDM file format
  2. You need to check the .PDM file for viruses. To do this, you need to scan it with a popular antivirus (Norton, Nod32, Kaspersky, Dr.Web, etc.)
