A PACKAGE file contains an art kit for FOREVER Artisan, a digital scrapbooking application. It stores scrapbooking content, such as page templates, cards, seasonal decorations, and creative splatters, which can be added to scrapbook projects. PACKAGE files are typically purchased and downloaded from the FOREVER online store and imported into the program.

Digital art kits may also be saved in an SBKIT or PAKIT file. You can import a kit in Artisan by selecting "Import content" from the Home menu.

How to Open .PACKAGE file on different platforms

Open .PACKAGE File on Windows

  • Right-click a .PACKAGE
  • Left-click "Open With" > "Choose another app"
  • Select the program that opens .PACKAGE file and Select check box "Always use this app to open .PACKAGE files" Press "Ok"

Open .PACKAGE File on Mac

  • Right-click (or Ctrl + Left-click) the .PACKAGE file
  • Click "Open With" > "Other.."
  • Then choose another program from the app list and press "Open"
  • Select check box "Turn on" for "Always open in app"
