How to Open .MKV file on different platforms

Open .MKV File on Windows

  • Right-click a .MKV
  • Left-click "Open With" > "Choose another app"
  • Select the program that opens .MKV file and Select check box "Always use this app to open .MKV files" Press "Ok"
