What is an .LED file?

.LED file extension has been classified as Settings, options, themes or skins Files.

.LED is Sony AIBO LED lights control data

The led file extension seems to be related to AIBO, an iconic series of robotic pets designed and manufactured by Sony.

These led files control the eye/tail/back/etc. lights on Sony AIBO robo dog.

The files are formatted as MIDI files. Instead of sound however, the key/pitch values correspond to individual LED's.

The volume corresponds to LED brightness. As proof, try renaming any led file to midi and playing it in Windows Media Player.

.LED file format is deprecated and this file format is no longer supported.

Currently, .LED file type is not actively used and is obsolete. This usually happens with system files in older operating systems, files from long-discontinued software, or with previous versions of some file types (documents, projects, images, etc.) that were replaced in later versions of the original programs.

How to open:

You can playback *.led files much like they were any other MIDI files.

How to convert:

Considering the files are MIDI formatted you can convert them as such.
