.IBA is Lectra Clothing Design Pieces File
CAD file used by Lectra Modaris, a clothing and fashion design application; describes the geometry of the pieces that comprise a clothing design; saved with a .VET file that provides the "cutter's must" sheet.
VET-IBA files may include a design for a shirt, dress, or pants. The apparel piece information can be sent to a pattern cutting machine that cuts the pieces from a larger roll of fabric.
NOTE: Lectra Modaris now uses .MDL files instead of VET and IBA files.

iBooks Author Document
Digital book created by iBooks Author, a program used to created iBooks for the Apple iPad; saves the chapters, sections, and pages of the book, as well as the page layout information; also saves the book's title, introduction media, table of contents, and glossary; used for textbooks, picture books, multimedia books, and many other types of digital books.
iBook Author documents can be exported to the .IBOOKS format for direct upload to an iPad (through the iTunes software) or for sharing with others. IBA files can also be exported to .PDF or .TXT (plain text) files for reading on the local computer or other devices.
IBA files are saved in a compressed .ZIP format. Therefore, you can open them manually with any Zip decompression program to see the book contents.
NOTE: To sell a book on the Apple iBookstore, you can publish the IBA file to the .ITMSP format (iTunes Store package) by selecting . Next, submit the package to the Apple iBookstore for review using the iTunes Producer software, which is provided for download with the iTunes Connect (iTC) Content Provider program.
