What is a .ETI file extension?

.ETI file extension is created by Communications Research Centre Canada. .ETI has been classified as Digital video and movie Files.

.ETI is ETI (Ensemble Transport Interface) stream

The eti file extension is used for ETI (Ensemble Transport Interface) stream file. The Ensemble Transport Interface (ETI) is a standardized output stream from a DAB/DAB+/T-DMB multiplexer.

It consists of a 2Mbit/s synchronous stream. Network adaptation is defined for G.703 lines (E1) that is the typical physical interface used between the multiplexer and DAB OFDM modulator.

The ETI stream can also be recorded to a file for capture and replay.

.ETI file format is deprecated and this file format is no longer supported.

Currently, .ETI file type is not actively used and is obsolete. This usually happens with system files in older operating systems, files from long-discontinued software, or with previous versions of some file types (documents, projects, images, etc.) that were replaced in later versions of the original programs.

How to open:

Use CRC ETI Streamer to play captured ETI stream file.

How to convert:

Use eti-tools to convert *.eti files to other formats.
