.EFP is Exchange Forms Designer Template

Form template used by Microsoft Exchange Forms Designer (EFD), an application development tool used for creating electronic forms; contains a basic form outline that is referenced by the Exchange Forms Designer Wizard.

EFP files are stored in the Efdforms\Template directory. Examples of templates installed with Exchange Forms Designer include:

  • Pstn1wnd.efp and Pstn2wnd.efp (Post forms)
  • Pstr1wnd.efp and Pstr2wnd.efp (Post response forms)
  • Sndn1wnd.efp and Sndn2wnd.efp (Send forms)
  • Sndr1wnd.efp and Sndr2wnd.efp (Send response forms)
Completed Exchange forms can be distributed to Exchange Client users by installing them in the Organization Library or publishing them to a public folder. They can also be saved as .FDM files sent to other users via email.
