What is an .EDF file?
.EDF is Edificius Project
Project created by Edificius, a CAD program that helps users create 2D and 3D architectural designs; contains data that describes different elements of the design such as roof material, door width, window fixture model, and balcony slab inclination; includes area views, floor plans, section views, elevation views, isometric views, terrain views and renderings of the design.
The EDF file also contains data that makes up the "Bill of Quantities," which is a list of tariffs, work descriptions, dimensions, and financial amount of the construction of the design. This data can be exported to a .DCF file.
NOTE: The EDF file can be exported to other CAD formats such as .OBJ, .STL, .PLY, .DAE, .SVG, and .DWG.
File Type 2 ESRF Data File
ESRF data file (EDF) used as a container to store text and binary data; contains header information and associated binary data; commonly used in scientific research applications to store collections of images.
File Type 3 Estimator Data File
Stores estimations created with Dunstad Estimator, a freeware software program for managing financial estimations; saved in a basic comma-delimited format that contains Estimator data.
