dotTrace Profile File
A DTP file is a data file created by JetBrains dotTrace, a profiling program used to gather and analyze performance information about .NET and .NET Core applications. It contains a profile snapshot, which includes performance or concurrency data collected by dotTrace and is used to analyze the performance of an application.
To open a DTP file in dotTrace, select in the window and navigate to the DTP file you would like to open.
DTP files may contain various diagnostic data depending on how the profile was customized by the user. Here are the two most common types of profiles:
