What is an .DSG file?
.DSG is Doom Saved Game
Save file created and used by Chocolate Doom, a fan-made version of the Windows 95 Doom; contains saved game progress, which includes the game version, game skill, episode of the game, current level, time since the level began, amount of possessed armor, armor type, attained powers and weapons, whether the player is alive, dead, or respawning, and other game information.
NOTE: There are six slots available for saved games and each slot uses a DSG file that is numbered from 0 to 5. The file is named doomsave[slot number].dsg.
File Type 2 Stitch Era Design File
A DSG file contains an embroidery design created by Sierra Stitch Era, a program used to design embroideries stitched with a sewing machine. It stores a vector design that has been drawn from scratch or a scanned image. DSG files also include advanced stitch information, such as fill patterns and thread colors.
You can create a DSG file in Stitch Era by selectingor from the toolbar, and then clicking . You can open a DSG file in Stitch Era by selecting or from the toolbar.
File Type 3 Control Studio Document
File created by Control Studio, a program used to simulate and prototype electronic systems; stores electronic components and connections on a design canvas; may also store written text and images; used for saving and loading designs, which can be simulated in the software.
The Control Studio Gallery window contains electronic components for inputs, processes, amplifiers, drivers, outputs, and measures. Users can select components from within these categories and place them on the design canvas.
File Type 4 Decker Saved Game
File saved by Decker, a game where players assume the role of a hacker that breaks into corporate computers; contains game information such as accepted and completed jobs and inventories; used for storing game progress.
NOTE: The Decker program is no longer available to download.
