File Type 2 Kingsoft Presentation File
A DPS file is a presentation created by Kingsoft Presentation, a slide show creation program included with the WPS Office suite. It contains a collection of slides, which often include a title slide followed by content slides that may include text, images, video, audio, and shapes. DPS files are commonly used for creating presentations for business or educational purposes, such as quarterly reports or seminars.
The DPS file is the native presentation format associated with the Presentation program. However, it can be converted to the more popular .PPT and .PPTX files supported by Microsoft PowerPoint and other presentation programs.
The WPS Office suite is similar to the Microsoft Office suite but is available for free. WPS Office offers three programs:
- Writer - Word processor similar to Microsoft Word.
- Spreadsheets - Spreadsheet program similar to Microsoft Excel.
- Presentation - Presentation program similar to PowerPoint.
Presentation allows you to create a presentation from scratch or from one of its many .DPT templates. You can design a slide by applying themes, choosing fonts and colors, and inserting images, video, audio, charts, tables, equations, and shapes. You can also add transitions, make speaker notes, and rehearse slide timings for presenting purposes.
