.DF is Lightscape parameters
File extension df is mainly related to Lightscape Visualization System. A DF is a format used with the LVS version 3.2 to store the value of various parameters used by the system to control units, display modes, simulation parameters, search paths, etc.
Parameters files are human readable ASCII files, consisting of a sequence of lines. Lines can be any arbitrary length and must be terminated by either a carriage-return, line-feed sequence or simply a line-feed character.
.DF file format is deprecated and this file format is no longer supported.
Currently, .DF file type is not actively used and is obsolete. This usually happens with system files in older operating systems, files from long-discontinued software, or with previous versions of some file types (documents, projects, images, etc.) that were replaced in later versions of the original programs.
