En EXP-fil er en embroidery CAM-fil (computer aided manufacturing) gemt i Melco EXP-formatet. Den indeholder koder, der fortæller nålen på en kommerciel symaskine, hvordan man laver et broderi. EXP-filer kan også gemmes i Bernina USB EXP-formatet, som bruges til broderier lavet af personlige symaskiner.

Bernina USB EXP-filer gemmer kun broderiets design. De indeholder ikke trådfarver og vil bruge standardtrådfarverne i det program, der bruges til at åbne filerne.

BEMÆRK: EXP-filer bruges oftest af 830, 780 og 580 Bernina-maskinerne, men kan også bruges af 630 og 340 Bernina-maskinerne.

DX Series DVRs come with inputs for security cameras. These cameras capture the surveillance video, which is then stored in EXP files by the DVRs. The EXP files can then be played using DX Series Export Viewer.
