What is an .CPT file?
.CPT is Corel Photo-Paint Image
A CPT file is a bitmap image created by Corel PHOTO-PAINT, a photo editing program that is part of the CorelDRAW Graphics Suite. It contains an image that supports layers, alpha channels, transparency, and other image effects. CPT files are used by amateur and professional photographers and graphic designers for storing touched up photos.
The CPT file is the main file type created by PHOTO-PAINT. When you save your image, PHOTO-PAINT creates the CPT file to store the image and all the edits that have been applied. CPT files are similar to the more popular Adobe Photoshop .PSD files in this way. You can save a CPT file by selecting.
The CPT file format is not supported by many image editors. However, you can export the file in PHOTO-PAINT to more widely supported image formats, such as .JPG, .PNG, .GIF, and .BMP. To export the CPT file selectand choose the format.
