A CDM file is a data model created by SAP PowerDesigner, an enterprise modeling and design program. To open a CDM file in Power Designer, select File → Open and choose the Conceptual Data Model CDM file you would like to open.

NOTE: PowerDesigner was originally developed by Sybase, which was purchased by SAP.
