.CASE is SlipCover Case Template

File used by SlipCover, a program used for making case cover images for digital media files; stores the design for a disc case cover; can be used for iTunes music, game titles, Blu-ray and DVD graphics, and custom cases.

If you receive a CASE file, you can double-click it to install it. The next time you open SlipCover, you will see the case cover in the drop down list in the main application window.

SlipCover includes a few case templates with the installation. However, you can make your own templates by following the simple case packaging format, which is specified on the SlipCover webpage.

How to fix problems with .CASE files
