What are .CAA files and how to open them?

Can't open .CAA file? Are you wondering what it contains? On our site we will explain to you what this file is, what it is used for and what software opens the .CAA file.

What is a .CAA file extension?

.CAA file extension is created by China National Knowledge Infrastructure. .CAA has been classified as Data Files. The format of .CAA file is Text.

.CAA is Chinese Academic Article Link File

A CAA file contains an HTTP link to a Chinese academic article or book stored online at www.cnk.net. It functions similarly to a .URL or .WEBLOC file as a shortcut to an academic book or article that can be downloaded and displayed in CNKI CAJViewer.

CAA files are typically used by Chinese students and researchers. The files are very small in size since they only contain a short string of text. The size allows users to more easily share links to large journal downloads.

When a CAA file is double-clicked it is opened by CNKI CAJViewer, which begins the downloading of the journal. Once the download begins, a control window opens that displays the name of the journal being downloaded, the file size, and the download rate.

NOTE: CNKI stands for China National Knowledge Infrastructure.

CleanApp Archive

Developer by: Synium Software Category: Backup Files Format: Binary

File archive created by CleanApp, a Mac OS X program used for cleaning out unwanted caches and files; contains files that have been archived by the user and allows the user to restore the files at a later time.

CleanApp archives are useful when deleting apps and user files from the system. Since many application support files use cryptic names, you may not be able to tell if each file is needed or not when deleting them. Therefore, by placing files in an archive, you can restore them if you later determine they are needed.
