Two types of .bdy files for DMAP exist:

First contains Latitude+Longitude data for certain regions, the other contains grid reference boundary data. Both files can be converted to each other with LL2TM conversion utility obtainable on developer's website.


How to open:

You can import *.bdy boundary files to DMAP. It doesn't seem this file type is supported to other programs.

You can convert .bdy files with LL2TM conversion utility.

How to fix problems with .BDY files

  1. You need to update the application that you normally use to open .BDY files. Only the latest version of the software supports the current .BDY file format
