What is a .AUTOSAVE.CDP file extension?

.AUTOSAVE.CDP file extension is created by Sony. .AUTOSAVE.CDP has been classified as Settings Files.

.AUTOSAVE.CDP is Sony CD Architect Project Autosave File

An AUTOSAVE.CDP file contains information about a .CDP project that has been autosaved by Sony CD Architect, an audio CD mastering and burning program. It stores project information, such as the location of source files, cuts, insertion points, edits, and project properties. AUTOSAVE.CDP files are temporary and automatically deleted when CD Architect is closed.

AUTOSAVE.CDP files are created to save edits that have been made to a project but not yet saved in the CDP file. The file protects you from losing "unsaved" information in case the program unexpectedly quits. You can turn off the autosave function by unchecking the Enable autosave checkbox.

NOTE: Sony CD Architect is discontinued.
