What is a .ADLS file extension?

.ADLS file extension is created by openEHR. .ADLS has been classified as Various data Files.

.ADLS is ADL Workbench data

The adls file extension is related to ADL Workbench. The adls file type is intended for persisting ADL source files.

The formalism is the same as for existing .adl files, i.e. openEHR ADL, but for specialized archetypes, the content has changed to include only differences, i.e. further constraints with respect to parent archetypes.

The new file type will become the source file type for archetypes in the future, but for now, .adl files are not touched by the tool.

How to open:

Use ADL Workbench to work with *.adls files.

How to convert:

There is probably no real way how you can convert this particular file type to anything else.

How to fix problems with .ADLS files

  1. You need to update the application that you normally use to open .ADLS files. Only the latest version of the software supports the current .ADLS file format
  2. You need to check the .ADLS file for viruses. To do this, you need to scan it with a popular antivirus (Norton, Nod32, Kaspersky, Dr.Web, etc.)
