.ACP is Alfresco Content Package
File used by Alfresco, an open source Enterprise Content Management (ECM) software package; contains data exported from an Alfresco repository; includes XML metadata files and the content files, which may be documents, web files, images, records, or any other type of data supported by the Alfresco repository model.
ACP files are used for backing up repository data as well as for transferring data between Alfresco repositories. Any data exported by Alfresco can be imported by any other repository.
NOTE: ACP files are saved in a compressed .ZIP format even though they have the ".acp" extension.
